Why I started Chhotki: a mom's story, for moms

I am a mom, and Chhotki began the way many mom ideas do: with a problem I could not stop thinking about. Festive outfits for little ones were often either pretty or comfortable, rarely both. Heavy fabric, scratchy trims and confusing sizes meant an outfit worn for an hour, then changed.

So I started Chhotki, a brand made by a mom, for moms. We make ethnic wear for children New born to 10 years, from lehengas and shararas to dhoti sets, kurta pajamas and koti sets. The focus is soft cotton, thoughtful detailing like gota patti, lace and tassels, and fits that let kids twirl, run and play.

Sizing was the other thing I wanted to fix, so every product lists age and real measurements and you can order with confidence. Based in Gujarat, I work with skilled craftspeople to make outfits I would be happy to dress my own child in. Chhotki is the little one in your life, your si jaan.
